Working student (m/f/x) – Sustainability Data & AI Automation

Your tasks

• AI for Sustainability: Work at the intersection of ESG, data, and intelligent automation to bring AI into real sustainability workflows at Wieland. Support us in reducing manual effort and increasing consistency.     
• Build AI Agents: Develop prototypes and translate sustainability processes into automated routines, such as customer sustainability inquiries, ESG rating routines, document checks, and market monitoring.    
• Hands-on Prototyping: Explore new ideas, test approaches, and build practical solutions that enhance efficiency, quality, and scalability.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with sustainability experts, data engineers, and other teams across the organization. We welcome you to bring your perspective into our team.

Your potential

• Qualification: You are an enrolled student (m/f/x) in Sustainability Management, Environmental Economics, Data Science, or a comparable field with a strong interest in applying digital and AI technologies to ESG work.   
• Analytical Mindset: You work systematically, enjoy exploring data, and can break down complex tasks into logical steps. You can evaluate whether a solution is reliable, scalable, and fit for purpose in a real industrial sustainability context.
• Soft Skills: You are proactive, communicative, and comfortable working in interdisciplinary teams. You bring your own ideas, enjoy experimenting with new approaches, and value continuous learning. Strong English skills (spoken and written) are essential for our international environment.
